has SampleCell CD format changed in 10 years?

I have a CD from the original NuBus SampleCell. Has this format changed in the last 10 years? I'd like to import them into Emagic's EXS24 for use with LAP, but unsure if it is too old.

The format changed between version 1 and 2 - but since late 1992 or early 1993 or so, the file format has been rock solid.

Don't know if EXS will load version 1 files...

I know that the samplecell editor, version 2.x will LOAD the version 1 files... then you can save as verson 2.

Anyone know why the Mac version of Samplecell editor version 2.x will read version 1 files, whereas the PC equivalent will not read version 1 files at all? I have quite a few version 1 banks and instruments which I have tried all sorts of conversion tricks with (awave, recycle, osmosis etc.) to NO avail.

C'mon digi, write a small patch to allow us to leverage our early investments.
