They're both great. I had both, sold the NTK and kept the U195. The U195 costs twice as much...

AKG just introduced two new versions of the 414 at NAMM. They LIST for $800 and sound stupid good. I especially liked the C 414B-XLS which is a bit less bright but smoother than its so-called "vocal mike" brother, the C 414B-XLII. They have a built in shock mount and are far less susceptible to pops than their predecessors or any of the low priced condensers I've tried.
I need to live with a mike for a while to really trust it but this was one of the best first-impressions of a mike that I can remember.

Hard to go wrong with either one, but the U195's the more versatile of the two IMO.

If you are considering mic pre and and converter, don't overlook Focusrite.
The digital option cards sound better than the Lucid 2496 or Rosetta AD/96 that they were compared to and the pres sound nice. I know you said the Rosetta200 but I was using the original Rosetta as a reference. The NTK is by no means a U195 but it's hard to beat at $399.
