Does 11R come with a full Pro Tools version

Hi,

I am considering buying the 11R, but does it come with the same PT10 version I would buy for $699? Or is it some kind of downgraded version?

You want to get the new version that comes with PT9 and includes the Expansion Pack. It will specify this on the box. When you registe the activation card for PT9, you will get an automatic upgrade to PT10.

If you order from an Internet retailer, you may want to do it by phone, and make sure they send you the right version. If it does not say these things on the box, don't open it and send it back.

So far I don't think they're shipping ones yet with PT10. But it doesn't matter, as long as you get the one with PT9 and the free upgrade.

Yes be sure to confirm that you are getting the new bundle with PT9 and the ERXP included, that way you can upgrade to PT10 for free.

Does the bundle with PT9 and ERXP include an Ilok? I got told today from a retailer on the phone that I'd have to purchase an Ilok with the bundle for $50. What would be the point of including PT9 and a free upgrade to PT10 if you couldn't use it?

I asked him the same question, and he said he would research it and get back to me - but he hasn't called back yet.

an iLok is supposed to be included in the new bundle.
