Pro tools 6.1 problems

I recently had a major issue with my computer and had to start my computer from scratch. I still had all of my pro tools session on my external hardrive. When I went to go re-install pro tools onto my computer it read a message saying. "Windows has not pasted a logo test" or something along those lines Then it says this may offect your operating system now or in the future. I clicked continue anyway just to see what would happen. When I went to re-start my computer. I can never get to the login screen it just keeps rebooting itself. So I have to click start with previous working configuration for it to start. When I finally log in and click on pro tools and error message comes up and it will not start. Does anyone know what is wrong?

Thw Windows message is not an error. It's explained in the install instructions/Getting Started Guide of all versions of PT.

As for what could really be the issue, we'd need more information about your system.
First off, 6.1 is only qualified up to XP SP1.
What is your operating system and SP version?
What Digi hardware?
Please read through this, follow it to the General Troubleshooting thread... then post a Sandra system report.
