Default PT keyboard stickers?

Hey there DUCs - I've got a couple more newbie questions for you.

Where do you recommend picking up keyboard stickers for ProTools shortcuts (or do you recommend purchasing the Digi keyboard - seems expensive)?

Has anyone checked out the new ProTools video Pro Tools DVD: Volume 1? I read a good review on it in Guitar Player. I'm looking for a nice, one-stop reference to give me strong beginner/intermediate skills.

I definitely recommend Editor's Keys; really nice stickers and fit on just about any keyboard. The digi stickers are nice too, but they wrap around the front of the keys, and don't work on many laptop keyboards.

Im not sure which DVD you're talking about, but the Method One DVD that comes with all new systems (also available at the digistore) is the perfect starting place. (I wish it had been included all along) Hopefully it will alleviate some of the redundant, repetitive posting that goes on here.

Use the "Search the DUC" function. Search for "stickers", this Windows forum.

There has been exaustive discussion of both the Digidesign and Editors keys versions.

Bottom line:
Most who use them consider them helpful.

Both versions are made with quality.

A few complaints about Digi's shipping cost...

Many who bought the newer Editors keys had used both and were impressed with their edition... after a few corrections.

For what it's worth, I've had the PT stickers for more than a year and am still happy. They are tough and helpful.

That keyboard is insane and will cost "about as much as a good mobile phone"! Makes me wonder how durable that is. Link bookmarked anyway!

tasty

about the stickers:
has anyone with a non-english keyboard layout tried these?
cause the alternate original key letter would be different from what I'm getting on my german keyboard. (eg. shift+7 gives my / , not & )

or would I have to change the win-keyboard-layout-setting to english?

to me the keyboard looks like it's completly customizeable and will work for both...

also i just read one of the reviews off of a differnt website and it says -

"Other good news is that the keyboard will be OS-independent with an open-source keyboard (SDK will be available)."
