Default Volume problem

It's the wierdest thing -- I bounce to disk, and when I play the aiff file using Quicktime, the volume is so low I can barely hear it -- even though it's all the way up in Quicktime and on my speakers. I can hear it just fine in ProTools during playback. Is there some way to keep the volume the same when you bounce it to disk?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Erika
