Just had a frustrating time with the renewal process. Turns out you have to click on 'renew support"' (even though it's not 'support' you want to renew), and then DE-SELECT the option you DON'T WANT! instead of selecting the one you DO want. Also, don't try to do this from within ProTools' "marketplace' tab...use your own browser and Avid.com.

Good to read that there’s a workaround for some ….
For those who previously did not renew Support (like myself), we don’t have your (hit renew Support button/deselect Support/just renew Upgrade) option.

However – my thanks to Chris (Southsidemusic), who answered my Post with:
“If any of us mods have escalated a thread then that apply to all posts.”

This morning I received an Avid Customer Care email, acknowledging my Case:
“Thank You for contacting Avid Audio Registrations.
Your issue is currently under escalation. We'll keep yo updated once the issue has been already fixed.”


The sun’s shining here too!

Same situation here. Went to renew my Annual Upgrade Plan this morning (expires 3/31) and no link, no button, nada! I even looked in the Avid Store for an option to purchase it there and the SKU from last years order doesn't match, afraid I might get a case of Sibelius if I touch the wrong button.

I have not started a support case yet, so what do ya' think?

I would start a support case. That seems to be the only way to get this taken care of.
I have 48 hours left before my plan expires but was told by support not to worry because it will be taken care of.

Default Renew Support disappeared from my account

I'm trying to renew my Annual Upgrade Plan like I did last year but contrary to what is suggested in the Avid Knowledge Base the link has disappeared from my account. Anyone else?

Default Can not renew protools 12

Hello, my annual upgrade plan expires at the end of the month (3/31/17). I can find no way to renew it. I also tried to start a case with avid, but when I go to "access the support center", I get a white blank page.

Not cool, can anyone help me, very frustrating.

Edit, I did manage to submit a ticket to Avid. case number 03175152.

Hello,

I just logged in to find my question has been moved to a sub forum that i had no idea existed. There is no one here (11 viewers) as opposed to the 12 forum (115 viewers). No response, no PM, no real email.

How in the world is this less important to a pro tools 12 discussion than speculation of what pro tools 12.9 might look like, or Pro tools sucks because I bought my computer at walmart.
