Default Disk Allocation issue

Hi everyone,

I currently run PT 8.0.3 on a MacPro. I have always has this issue with PT switching my disk allocation. I save all my sessions on an external drive and I check the disk allocation to make sure that the session is being recorded and saved where it should be. But then, I can close out the session and when I reopen it, and I check the disk allocation, some tracks in the session are being saved on my Mac and the others on the external drive.

How can I stop this madness? :) Or maybe I'm just stupid...Either way I need help.
I don't understand how it can just choose what it wants to do.

Hope someone can help clarify this and have any suggestions at all.

Thanks a lot!
