Default tempo map import question

i'm trying to import a midi file from digital performer 4.6 into PTLE 6.9 all the individual files transfer but the tempo information is not carrying over. does anyone know how to do this?

i use to have the same problem



go to the file menu

and import midi file from here in the import window select import tempo from midi file thats pretty much it
