Matching PCIe cards
I am in the process of building a TDM HD system. I'm running PT10 on my MBox2Pro. I just bought a 192 i/o and a MIDI i/o. The slots are PCIe. I would like to find both the Accel Core and DSP card with the flex cable all together but I mainly see deals on each separately, the flex cable usually comes with the DSP card.
I know this is nerdy but can you mismatch the cards by revision? Put another way, if I get a card labeled: "Accel Core (for PCIe)" and another labeled "HD Accel (for PCIe)", can I go wrong? Or do do they have to match each other in some mysterious way? I can get a core card ver. c for $100 or a ver. e for $150. Is there an appreciable difference and will either work with the ver. J Dsp card I just saw? Last edited by GreggS; 04-04-2023 at 05:33 PM. |

Re: Matching PCIe cards
All revisions of Accel cards will play nice with each other as far as I know.

Re: Matching PCIe cards
Thanks, that's kind of what I'm thinking.
