Default Sonic Drops

Does anyone know how to get this in PlayCell?
I downloaded all the sounds on Avid Link, but when I try to load them on PlayCell they are not in the drop-down menu.

Sonic Drops are not ONLY playcell palettes I think....

Also, all that gets installed with those Sonic Drops are "Sound Libraries" files, and they are just WAV loops and one shots, not any kind of preset files as far I can see. That indicates to me they aren't be default meant to be in the Playcell drop down menu.

I'm not exactly sure Avid's intention. It's not totally spelled out...

Edit: I could imagine some Sonic Drops being audio samples (like the ones on Avid Link now), and others in future being presets for other synths and plugs.

This is correct. The initial launch is 6 sample packs of loops and one shots. Every drop will be different and some will be presets/instruments, others will be sample packs, templates, and so on.

Will that include multi-samples for presets?

Yes, depending on the theme of the specific drop.

It not however clear how you actually get the sonic drops in Play Cell.

We discussed that. Just above.

The current sonic drops are NOT PlayCell Palettes.

They are wav samples and loops.

I like Live templates but I never finish a song with them because I don't like Live.

Drum & Bass, Halftime, 140, you know, breakbeats in general would be cool!

More info please, really curious.

Thanks Matt!

Ahh nice

All Sonic Drops are amazing so I can only imagine how cool the templates will be!

Your "Live At SoCal Synth Society" performance is on repeat over here also!
