I am editing an audio book. The mono file is about 3 hours long. I need to speed up the pace of the reading and I've found that strip silence works great. I can define the correct settings and remove the long pauses between sentences. However, I then have to go in and manually move hundreds of regions together in Shuffle mode.
Does anyone know of a way to automate the process? Is there a way to get Strip Silence to slap the regions together once it has processed a file? Any ideas would be appreciated. Bruce |

Make a new track
Select all the remaining regions in the edited track (should also now be highlighted in the region list) Drag the selected regions onto the new track with the timeline drop order set to Left to right
