How to downgrade from Ultimate sub to Studio?

Hi Avid, please need some support - have I missed how to do this, searched everywhere?

I am on Ultimate subscription but since I had to abandon HD Native after 6 months of trying to fix it, I have Thunderbolt interfaces and wish now to move to Studio.

Unfortunately on Avid Link there does not seem to be anywhere I can select Studio for my subscription? Can I downgrade easily? Or do I have to buy a brand new Studio subscription and yikes, re-install everything?! Thanks

There is no downgrade. You have to cancel one tier and subscribe to the other. If you’re month to month this is not a big deal.

BTW, Ultimate will work with thunderbolt interfaces.

And you do not need to reinstall anything, all this software is the same, only the license key changes Intro to Artist or Studio or Ultimate.

So I will not renew Ultimate and simply purchase a new subscription to Studio, online. Ok.

… Avid I would suggest that on Avid Link please just have a button next to the Renew button, titled Downgrade / Upgrade so we can do this with one click, you already have all the card details to charge to. 😁
