Yep, they are a joke as it stands. I haven't done anything on the list except the obvious keeping drivers up to date etc, running smooth. So I have C-states, Turbo etc all on - it's a moot point anyway as PT forces the High Performance Plan on which locks the CPU to All Core Turbo. Not having modern Turbo boost or HT on would limit performance by a massive amount...

Microsoft's Pete Browns list is much more sensible, although even that is showing some aging.

I'm reading through this long link above, and one thing I have now changed on my setup:

Processor Scheduling
Adjust for best performance of:
"Programs"

I used to have this set to "Background services"

I tried it, but for me (on HDX) it doesn't seem to make a measurable difference.
