Artist Series gone from Avid Web Site

I just noticed that the Artist Series are no longer listed on the Avid Web Site...

I knew about the Artist Transport but are they discontinuing the Mix and Control as well?

Just noticed that the Artist Transport is no longer listed on the Sweetwater site. It's not even listed as back-ordered or no longer available. It is just not listed. It was hard to get one a year ago, so this doesn't surprise me.

So I assume they are all ready for the Pro Tools Dock whenever it finally gets released.

If you are looking for an Artist Transport new, it may now be the last chance. The Artist Transport seems to be at the end of life for that product, even if it hasn't been announced.

Artist Mix and Artist Control appear to be in good supply still.

Not long left for Artist Control - you're not able to use it in conjunction with a S3, the new Dock, or the ipad app. They unofficially retired it even before the transport, without bothering to tell anyone.

Interestingly that's the only final sale date in 2016 shown in the document for audio solutions.

The dealer sale prices on Artist Mix, if you have a support subscription, are probably an indication that Artist Mix is nearing end of life.

It's interesting that Artist Control does not have sale pricing. I assume that either means it isn't near end of life or the remaining inventory is low enough that sale prices aren't needed.

I have to wonder if Avid isn't coming out with the equivalent of Pro Tools Dock with many faders. The iPad would then function as the meters display on the S6. Or, is S3 going to be the "low cost" solution?
