Default Help with tempo change please

I imported a audio drum file to record guitar over and it has several tempo changes that need to happen, 120 - 110 - 120 - 155 - 120 and such, when I add tempo change markers they show up and it shortens/lengthens the bars after it and even says it changes in the transport when playing it but it never actually changes it still plays at the 120 default tempo the whole track, I read somewhere to change the track to ticks instead of samples and I did that and it still did nothing, I have also tried every type of elastic audio on sample and tick based track and it still hasn't worked. Someone please help this is killing me.

So the tempo changes are already in the drum track (the file itself), or you are trying to make it conform to tempo changes?

The tempo changes are not in the file itself I am trying to make the tempo changes happen to the audio drum track which is all by default 120 tempo.

I think you need to change the order you are doing things
First turn on Elastic audio,
Second change from samples to ticks
Then put your tempo changes in the track
See if that helps...
