Default V series bundle

I swear... there MUST be new management at Waves....... or maybe we finally woke them up???
Got an email this morning stating that V-series is now available as a seperate bundle. Haven't checked the price yet but if it's reasonable (unlike the Mercury bundle)..... I may actually start doing business with Waves again after years on the sideline.
Plus, there's NARAS discount they implemented not long ago.
What up?

BTW, what's the consensus on the V plug-ins, now that they've been out for awhile?

For those using them, are you using the analog setting that adds the noise? After I installed the Mercury bundle, I used a bunch of the V plug-ins on a mix. The added noise was a bit of a shock, something I hadn't heard for years.

It looks that Mercury wasn't selling very well.

There was a time as a good customer I would have jumped at the first offer of Neve emulation plug ins from waves. But since WUP was sprung on me, I just delete the emails I get from waves.

No offense intended, but I don't trust those guys anymore.

I wouldn't assume that. Over the years, Waves has often introduced new products at expensive prices, and made them more affordable/attainable over the years. I think pretty much everybody expected that these things would be available separately at some point.

But the SSL bundle is still 2 grand one year on...while the V starts at $1600

Maybe there will be some better offers popping up in a few days
