Analog Channel 2 on master fader -- crackle
I'm trying the Analog Channel demo and I'm trying to use AC2 over the Master fader. I hear a faint crackling sound during playback unless I bypass the plug-in. Anybody know what's going on here? It's only when AC2 is on.
thanks in advance. love joe

Re: Analog Channel 2 on master fader -- crackle
Try the double mono version instead of the stereo. I talked with Collin, there is a little bug in the stereo version.

Re: Analog Channel 2 on master fader -- crackle
Is this a bug in most stereo plugs when they are on the master? I had the same problem with the grm tools and I just gave up on it.
I haven't tried it in the dual mono mode, mainly because of the dsp usage. oh well. -ryland |

I do not reccoment using it on stereo masters to try to tape up the digital as a quick fix. Ex: Sum of all parts = Amazing quick fix stereo bus = flat/Mud I use this daily and can only say it Rocks!!! Dan Spitz producer/mixer currently setting up new room in manhattan |

Re: Analog Channel 2 on master fader -- crackle
Nice to hear someone spell out what was dawning on me.
I had stopped using the AC2 so much - and have posted that to this group - but I think that was down to me rather than the plugin. May I also recommend again the AC1 - the effect isn't so dramatic when solo'd, but it certainly does something nice in the context of a mix. If you decide to buy - may I recommend www.altomusic.com they gave me a great price. Pete |
