Default Re: Invalid authorization code

You didn't say which version of PT you have nor what you are trying to do but this may help:

The following information is about the Pro Tools LE 7 authorization code, sometimes referred to as the Pro Tools LE serial number, and how you can find your authorization code if you own Pro Tools LE 7.

The Pro Tools LE 7.0/7.1.x authorization codes begin with either "DIGI070" or "DIGI071"
Pro Tools LE 7.3 requires a new serial number, and the Pro Tools LE 7.3 authorization codes begin with "DIGI073"

The authorization code consists of 3 groups of 8 characters, with each group of characters separated by a single space.

All authorization codes are case sensitive
The first 4 letters are all upper case: DIGI
All other letters are lower case
All “0” characters are zeros, not letters

Your Pro Tools LE 7 authorization code can be found in one of the following locations:
Inside the front cover of your Upgrading to Pro Tools 7.0 booklet included with Pro Tools LE 7.0 upgrades purchased from a Digidesign dealer
Inside the front cover of your Getting Started Guide (version 7.0) if your Pro Tools LE core hardware system already included Pro Tools LE 7.0 or 7.1*
*The Pro Tools LE authorization code included with the Mbox 2 Mini is on the back of the Pro Tools LE installation DVD sleeve under "PT LE CODE FOR MAC OS X / WIN XP".
