Eleven Rack Updater System ID & Serial Number

Hi All

My situation is as follows:

I bought a NEW Eleven Rack with Pro Tools 11 combo a few years back. All worked OK. Then the baby came along and I had to hang up my strings for a while.

I've now dusted off the 11R in the hopes of starting up again. In doing so, I downloaded the latest drivers, the 11R Editor app, and the "Avid Eleven Rack Updater" app.

Everything works great. The Editor works, I'm getting audio, etc. HOWEVER:

When I start up the Updater app, the first thing it requires me to do is to insert my Serial Number and System ID. I cannot find these anywhere...

The 11R serial on the back panel is easy enough (if that's even the one I need to use), but it's of no use without the System ID.

I've checked my avid.com account page, scoured every link, but nothing. Many of the forum chats I've looked up suggest the "Products and Subscriptions" page, but this only has the plug-in information.

Any further suggestions?

PS. I'm not tech savvy by any means so I don't know if it will make a difference, but it might be worth mentioning that since having last used the 11R a few months ago, I have had to do a clean uninstall and reinstallation of my Mac OS.

I should also have mentioned that in my Avid account Products page, the only items listed are:

BF Tel-Ray
Eleven
MoogerFooger Bundle
Pro Tools 11
Reverb One

Each heading expands but offers only DLC.

The Eleven Rack updater is the ERXP. It's a paid firmware upgrade that gives you several more amps and effects above what was included with the initial release of the Eleven Rack.

From your post however, it sounds like you probably already have the ERXP installed since Avid has been including the upgraded firmware for several years now with new Eleven Rack units.

You can tell if you have the ERXP by checking if you have all the amps listed on the Eleven Rack page

OR (and this is the better way to check)

Check the firmware version of your Eleven Rack. If it says 2.0.x, then you have the latest firmware and you DO NOT need to update the Eleven Rack.
