Pro Tools Ultimate Perpetual - Digilink License?

Hey folks, is a Digilink I/O license usually bundled with a Pro Tools Ultimate Perpetual license?

I am looking to sell my PT Ult Perp license and I see there is a Digilink license in the ilok asset too?

If it's bundled in a locked PT group on your iLok, it can't be separated and must be sold with that entire group.

Fun thing about the digilink license is they made it non-sellable/transferrable in any way. So it is either bundled with your Pro Tools Ult license (not everyone got it this way originally), or you got a separate license (either with the purchase of Avid hardware or bought separately from Avid's website.)

But once, registered to your account, it isn't transferrable. I wanted to give one of my 10 digilink licenses (most not in use) to a friend and in the end, I had to put it on an ilok belonging to my account and give him the ilok. Eventually I ended up with another digilink license and didn't register it to my account and just gave him the code number so he could put it in his account.

Also, the Digilink License is longer needed for HDX/HD Native in PT Ultimate 2022.4. It is now built into the software.
It's still needed for HD hardware in PT HD 12.6 - PT Ultimate 2021.12.

Thank you for the non-transferrable info. Mine has always been locked to iLok PT Group. I'll do more reading on this.
