Default Plug Ins Not Appearing in PT 7.4

Hi, having a bit of trouble and wondering if anybody can help out..

I got a new macbook pro today 2.2dual core2 duo / Leopard and mbox2 with PT7.4.

Having moved from a PowerBook 1.5ghz PPC, running the same PT with Tiger.

I installed all the software on my Macbook pro today, along with BFD v1.5 and Reason 3. However when i opened PT it doesnt show the BFD and Reson Plugins.....

They were there on my old machine so does anybody know why they arent showing up?????

DO i have to get any update / driver type stuf?? I cant find any info.

Also the tempo part from my Transport bar has gone missing and i cant find that either.. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any help

Gray

First, you need to uninstall 7.4 (clean), then download and install 7.4.2 for proper compatibility with Leopard.

BFD needs to be updated to 2.0.4 or higher and Reason needs to be updated to 3.0.5 or 4.0.1.

Leopard is the culprit.

I may be wrong but REASON should be version 4 with Leopard

Hate to break it to ya', but you're wrong on this one...which is probably good for the original poster, as they won't have to pay for an upgrade:

AAAaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh!!!

Thanks for the replys lads.

I reinstalled the original OS x 10.5.4 tiger and then reinstalled PT 7.4.

Guess what? The Poxy plugins for Reason and BFD dont show up!!!!!

I cant believe it... its the same spec as my PowerMac desktop.. which they do feature in.

Thought i'd try saving myself a few hundred quid i dont have on upgrades by reverting to Tiger again and now it seems i'm worse off...

Im going away to cry now...

I feel like the guy who dumped his reliable long term girlfriend for the hot chick in the office, only to be dumped myself

EDIT.. Well just got Reason ( updated form DigiTechSupt's link / Thanks for that ) to show up so reinstalling BFD now.

Reason 3.0.5 is required for compatibility with an Intel Mac.

BFD version 1.5.45Q is required for compatibility with Intel Mac on Tiger.
