Hi
The only way Ive managed to Launch PT is on a second user account. Unfortunately this account doesnt have access to my documents folder where I keep all my samples. How can I make folders 'common' to both users? Switching the ownership to the second user isnt an effective solution because I now use both users.... Im sure this aint hard Thanks:) R. |

Most folks store their samples or sound effects libraries on either a second internal drive or an external drive. I assume you are already using a second drive as a record/ playback volume. If there is sufficient space, then transfer your library there. If not, drives are dirt cheap these days (especially if you just need one for storing samples and not for recording audio). I'm also assuming that you have your sample library backed up for that day when the drive fails (and it will happen eventually).
p.s. If you really, really want to keep your samples on your system drive, you can use the "shared" folder under System>Users>Shared. Good luck.
