Default Bug When Shift clicking 2022.9
Getting this error every time I shift and click with the selector tool!

I can't put the error code in this post because it ALSO gives me an error! Unreal. So see pic

Rolling back to 2021.12. This version is terrible

I can't do the basic troubleshooting on your system to see if you can fix the issue. I also cannot open a case on your behalf with Avid Support.

But, it's a good idea rolling back as those versions and your system seem more compatible....

Default Bug When Shift clicking 2022.9
I already did and the issue doesn’t happen. There hasn’t been 1 good version all year. Ridiculous. I have tried all of them and these bugs happen right away. Who tests this stuff??

I know how to troubleshoot. Been a user since PT 4. 2022.9 is buggy.

I miss the digidesign days.

Shift-clicking with the selector tool on a clip or clips works as expected here.

If you switch to bars and beats it works. If the counter is in min and secs it gives you the error.

I've been in timecode and min:sec......

No error shift clicking............ Need more repro, or not a universal bug. I believe you're seeing the error, just not sure it's a bug for everyone.

Yes. It happens in Mins/Secs
I am constantly doing this command going over notes with a client and the mix is in its own timeline.

Tried all the normal troubleshooting. Zapped prefs etc. Still happens

Back on 2021.12 for now. Works fine. Definitely related to 2022.9

The OSes the versions were designed and tested and qualified, both work. Both versions work imo

"expected compatibility" at this time means "less and less compatibility" moving forward.

I encountered it with the grid relative setting.
When using grid it worked fine for me.

Same issue here when in Min:Sec timeline. Bars:Beats works as expected.

2013 Mac Pro
OS 10.15.7
PT 2022.9
