If I understand your question and read the reference manual correctly...

"Use folders and subdirectories to organize DigiGroove templates. However, be sure they are always located in...
C:\Program Files\Digidesign\Pro Tools\Grooves (Windows)
or...
Applications/Digidesign/Pro Tools/Grooves (Macintosh).
Groove template files located elsewhere will not be available in either Groove Quantize or Beat Detective. "
(Page 363 of the 6.7 Reference Guide)

In other words, with the 'Finder' (or PC equivalent), manually placing your downloaded groove templates inside the appropriate folders (see above) should then make them available within your sessions.

I hope this helps. If not, my bad - I am misunderstanding you.

Andre....when you say manually import what exactly do you mean...let me explain...

I make a Groove template using Beat Detective and I save it in the Grooves folder. When I open the Groove drop down menu in Strike, I don't see it. I see all the other grooves that came with Strike but not the created one which is in the same folders as all the others....I am assuming the folder I am looking at is the same one as Strike!! can you help....thanks Mike
