2022.9 Can't grab MIDI notes

Same experience.
When I first installed 2022.10 I wasn't able to repro as much as I tried.
Things were going good during a test session on two different Windows systems.

AND THEN...I could repro it over and over again when inserting drum loops in Shuffle mode.
The clip being dropped in freezes while the shuffled clips are fine.
I've also had it happen when dragging & dropping a single MIDI drum pattern.
It's random and doesn't always happen.
Switching to sample mode and back has worked for me in each case.

Is there a keyboard shortcut for switching to sample mode?
I know it's right there but sometimes I'm in the full screen MIDI editor.

I searched Keyboard Shortcuts (Control + Shift + K) for "Main Counter." See screenshot. There is no default command for setting Main Counter.

I just tested with assigning Control + Shift + F5 and Control + Shift + F6.

I haven't done any MIDI to repro your bug, but the above seems to match your question.

Deal breaker for me. Going to still stay put on 2021.12.

I was actually wondering if there is a shortcut for switching sample/tick mode on the track. I now see it's not in the list you referred me to.
But I very much appreciate your time in seeking that out!
