ilok missing pro tools license

Bought pro tools 12. Avid account says plan is active, and linked to ilok account, but ilok account does not show license. When i open Pro Tools to try and activate it, it says 'You dont have any licenses in your account, or none of the licenses there have activations available. You do not have any pending deliveries for the license(s) you need to authorize the software'. There are no licenses in my Ilok account to tranfer to my ilok usb. Tried everything, pulling my hair out!

Hi and Welcome to the Community

What version of PT12 did you buy and where did you buy this.

Also have you done the registration process at Avid.com and have a ilok2 key?

Have you installed the latest Ilok License Manager from ilok.com?

If you have done everything suggested by Avid then try a sync/repair on your ilok key from the Ilok Manager or ilok website.

Please post all the info you can so we can help you easier.

I have a gen 2 ilok key, have the ilok license manager (which shows that i have no licenses or activations. I bought pro tools 12 from an audio specialist store. It came with the ilok and an activation card which i have successfully redeemed. In my Avid account, it shows my subscriptions plan are active. It shows that my account is linked with my ilok. Would some screenshots help?

Thanks for the replies. These are the screenshots of my avid account, ilok license manager, and pro tools.
Do you mean the ilok activation code? I dont know where to locate this. I have activated my pro tools and downloaded, installed. I understand it could be a novice mistake i'm making but not sure where to go from here.

You're ilok account name is has @gmail.com - you are logged into the WRONG ilok account

Doubt that as you can name the ilok key whatever you want and has nothing to do with what login email name is on the account.

It's pretty obvious

The ilok screen is "bentroynewton"
The Avid Account shows the ilok account is linked to "[email protected]"

So his ilok license is in the ilok account "[email protected]"
NOT in ilok account "bentroynewton"

The user needs to login to ilok account "[email protected]" and he will find his license there.

FWIW avid's default ilok account name is the email used in the avid account - when a new user is activating a new pro tools license.

After looking at that a bit closer it looks as if you are right! I stand corrected
