Hi,

Is this true for all sessions or just this particular session,

"If I "Save Session Copy In" and choose to copy all audio, but not the fades - session copy is empty."

Please let us know,
Digidesign Tech Support
This is true for all sessions. I've tried this with about ten completely different sessions - same result for all.

Yes. This problem existed before and after installing the cs update.

Confirmed here under XP as a bug.

The audio files are copied.. but the region/playlists are cleared.

Did you have a backup from before this.. or can you spot the audio files to recreate your session?

Unfortunately, I do not have a backup from before this. I may be able to retrieve the original sessions from an automatic network backup - that's my next step.

I havent tried spotting the audio files - I'm assuming there's no original timecode reference associated with the copied audio since the files don't even show up in the bin.

I just checked here.. the files do retain their time stamps.. but it can be a chore depending on the size and complexity of your session. I hope you find a suitable backup.
