Hardware Inserts in LE???
i've heard a few different things regarding hardware inserts when it comes to LE. First i was told that because of no automatic delay compensation - it is useless to mess with any hardware inserts because of latency. then i was told by someone else that this can be corrected with buffer settings???
i'd def like to use hardware inserts (like FATSO, DBX160's, etc.) shall i save my pennies for HD? thanks! 003R, MacBook Pro

Re: Hardware Inserts in LE???
Latency is reduced with smaller buffer settings but not eliminated particularly when additional A/D and D/A conversion takes place going to outboard. However, you could always try 'printing' the FX return (recording to a track) then nudging the region back to compensate for any delay.
