Default help using DFH2 samples with sound replacer plugin

I cannot get sound replacer to find any of the samples from the East West DFH2.
There is no literature from East West.

I have copied the library folder on to my computer hard drive.

Does anyone have a clue how to get the samples in WAV or AIFF format so the sound replacer plugin can locate them? I am just seeing a bunch of nothing at the moment.

I am extrememly new to using DFH and could really use a hand.

My goal: beef up snare and Kick sounds with some samples.

Thanks

Default Re: help using DFH2 samples with sound replacer plugin

I'm not too sure about DFH since I don't own it, but I do own East West/QL Symphonic Orchestra. The raw samples that make up an instrument are imbedded into one giant file that show up as an ".nks" file in Finder. Not a .wav or .aif to be found.

What comes to mind is to program a MIDI track to play all the hits you want (not overlapping), record them onto an audio track, slice them up into individual hits and then bounce those hits as aiff files. Kind of time-consuming, but I know of no other way.
