MTRX Studio Build Quality

Hey all,

Just wanted to vent a little observation.

I bought a Sync X yesterday, got it home, unpacked it, and straight away I couldn’t believe the build quality on it. The buttons, the faceplate, everything is just so much more solid and less plastic-y feeling compared to the MTRX Studio, I imagine this is also what the Carbon interface feels like?

When received the MTRX I made a post on how annoyed I was that the leds behind the faceplate didn’t match up to the etchings, so when you look at it you can’t make out what the words are (this still annoys me). On top of this I had channel 9 on the DB25 output die on me at the beginning of the year, I’m in the process of having it RMA’d and I’m hoping the replacement is all around built better. Mine is from an early run not too long after release, so I have all fingers crossed they worked out some of these, albeit mostly cosmetic, issues.

Would love to hear your opinions on your own MTRX Studios,

I know a studio where they bought 2 MTRX studio, and they have a different color grey. It like two different machines in a rack. Both grey/blackish but slightly different.
But they work like they should.
