So what happen to Tab to Next Midi Note in Edit Window?

In the EDIT window, I used to be able to switch a midi track to NOTE view and tab from note to note. Now it just jumps to the end of the region. Tab to transient is working just fine on my audio tracks. It's just the midi tracks that don't seem to behave the way they used to.

It does work in the new Midi Editor window. But I'm talking about the original EDIT window. I was really handy when I needed to line up a midi event with an audio track.

Anyone else bugged by this?

Tab to transient needs to be on.
Works fine here.
Midi track in any view. (Not speaking of the midi editor but the track in the edit window)
If TTT is off then your midi track needs to be in a view other than region-view and it still works.

This is one of the MANY bugs I have run into as well. Im using massey Drums to Midi to lay down a midi track, then I go in close to fine tune all the midi notes and boom.....tab to transient does not work (and yes it is turned on!). The cursor just jumps to the end. This was a BIG pain for me as well. I did quickly find a workaround. Take the entire midi track that is not tabing, copy and paste it to a new midi track. Tab should now work. Delete the original. Its quick, it works, and I kept working. Now if I could only solve the random blasts of noise that come out of the system, Id be happy!

We constantly have this issue as well. Can you check this out Digi. Sometimes tab to midi works and sometimes it jumps to the end of the midi region. VERY frustrating...

When using Massey's DTM, simply select the entire MIDI track, cut it, paste it back in place, voila, tab works again.

Stupid bug, but an easy workaround.

Cant believe this ridiculous bug! What a pain in the [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep]. I have been dealing with this forever, untill I finally found this thread. (Thanks to google, not the DUC search function.)

Often I find that I have to select the "real-time midi" whatchamacallit in the preferences to be able to tab through midi notes.
