since 12.6 9173, now unusable...
since the update i get 9173 all the time! it´s unusable...
never had this before THIS often!

12.5.2 was great with El Capitan AND Sierra, 12.6 with 9173 on both systems (Sierra just for testing).

Obviously not everyone is seeing what you're seeing. I have had my issues with 9171, 9172, and 9093s but have found 12.6 to be better in this regard on El Cap.
I know it's a PITA, but have you tried a clean OS install and the stock plugins to see if it's something 3rd party that's contributing? Do you have a spare hard drive you can try that with?

OS upgrade most often leads to unstable system. Always do a clean install if you need to use PT in production
