Default Drag and drop midi chords from VI?

Hi all,

Does anyone know of an RTAS VI that includes a list of chords so that you can just drag a chord on to the instrument track in the edit window - in the same way that you can drag a drum pattern from EZ Drummer etc?

I am more that aware that I can just play them in with a controller but if I'm writing a song when I'm on the move it would be nice to be able to just drag the basic major and minor chords on the the grid to make up the basic song.

Anyone know of any RTAS software that has this feature?

Cheers

I haven't heard of such a plugin, but you could make a template session with a bunch of chords in it, and Import session data from that.

Yeah, I know, but it would be so much easier for song construction on the move to be able to drag some chords onto bars to arrange a song.

Check out Band-in-a-Box software at http://www.pgmusic.com/

You can build your own Chord progression and it's drag and drop into Pro Tools & other DAW's
125$ for the basic which is all you need for what you want to do.
