Default Wire Harness and Tech Support

Just found out that my 002 is included in this batch with a bad wiring harness

Called Digi - sending a new part overnight via FedEx. That was easy!
Wish me luck with the install of it ----- Zap!! LOL

One connection at a time? I am afraid to ask what that means?
Guess I will wait for the instructions, eh.

I hope this is the fix of fixes - I am reading here that some have more probs after.

There are 3 connections that need to be made. Jpoprock found out the hard way that if you don't put the new harness back the same as the old, you will fry your 002. So you remove one connector and put the appropriate connector on - in the same orientation. Do that 3 times and you're good to go. Very easy - just do proper housekeeping. No one else who cahnged the harnes ( and there have been many) had a problem.

Good luck.

Don't worry, if you have a screwdriver, and 30 minutes, you are set. When I did mine, I drew all sorts of pictures of where everything went thinking I'd screw it up. Turns out it was super easy and fixed my fader issue 100%.

Have fun
Jason

All done. Pretty simple stuff. The plugs are a bitch to get off but LOL ... all seems well.

I noticed that fader 6 is jerky when it fades up from off. Kind of like
fff fff fff ffffffffffffffffffff <this is all very quick> once it gets past less than a 1/4 of the way up it's clean?

Any thoughts?
