Sorry I cannot double-check for you as my HDN thunderbolt box is on another gig now. Just reading specs. They say it should work but if it does not, contact support.

You could try another TB cable/port, but I really think you should contact support at this time. They say it should work (which I cannot double-check in a timely matter) so let them help you further.

Has this been solved? I'm running exact same spec and cannot get to run either.

Thanks!

Very important.

Also, many people have had trouble with the HD Driver over the past few months. Some (like me) had to use the HD Driver Installer that was within the ProTools Installer folder as the separately downloaded installer exhibited the issue you're having. And some others simply needed to reinstall the driver a couple of times to get it to stick. Odd, yes, but that's how it worked for them.

As mentioned, your computer *should* work with that hardware. If the remedies mentioned here don't work, reach out to Avid. Their tech support dept is getting paid to handle issues like yours.
