Someone mentioned to me that the Mac Pro 10 gig ethernet ports are not compatible with Dante. I'm not sure if that is true. Either way, how come when I plug my thunderbolt to ethernet into my Mac and get internet the DVS doesn't see an IP? Ugh
You have to stop conflating issues- you have several things going on.
As I've said twice there us an issue using DVS via internal ethernet ports.
It isn't that the ports are not compatible but there is an issue with internal ethernet ports working at the moment.

Audinate will fix the issue eventually.
You will have to use an adapter for DVS if you want to use DVS.

Also, have you disabled EEE on the switch?
Is IGMP snooping on or off?

Show me screenshots of DVS using an adapter.
You have to select the correct network interface in DVS.

And I just changed the MTRX to a static IP. I can change it back but the adaptor didn't see the DVS card either way.

Why did you do that?

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean. The resolution is fine on my end. I'll upload again and see if something changed

I did that because I’m trying anything I can. Again, it didn’t either way.

Firstly stop doing that.
Imagine you are a doctor and your network is a patient.
Do you chop of its leg or give it a haircut to see if it fixes its liver complaint?
No.

Do things you need to, when you understand how the network works.
Hacking away at it like this is why you are in this position and it makes it harder for anyone troubleshooting your issue.
I don't mean to be harsh here- but this is the truth.

Res is too low: this is what I see:

Jeff
The delay compensation doesnt work at all with the unit. Will this be fixed anytime soon? Why isn't this top priority with Avid?
