DM4800/DM3200 and PT9/10 HUI Thrashing Fix

For almost a year now my set up has suffered from an intermittent issue that I think I fixed. I've not seen anyone else with this issue, but just in case thought I'd document the fix I finally ran into.

First the problem. After loading a project PT would send the DM4800 HUI messages - and you could see the 4800 relabeling the faders, etc. Then they'd clear out and relabel again, and again, and again.... While this happened all 12 cpu cores on my system would max out - all without any playback or anything else that normally taxes processors. It appeared almost like a race condition with the 4800 and PT sending each other messages and correcting each other over and over.

While I had a few kludges to work around this problem, on more than one occasion I was stuck for upwards of an hour hoping to open my project.

Anyhow to cut to the chase, it appears that unchecking MIDI Thru fixes this issue - either that or I've just been lucky the last couple of weeks.

Hopefully if anyone else has this issue this will fix it for them.
