Hello - first time poster. I have a Pro Tools Studio perpetual license, and today tried to upgrade by downloading Pro Tools 2024.3 Mac DMG to my laptop. A Teletone plugin wasn't working properly in my DAW and it was recommended to me by the plugin creator to try upgrading to latest version of Pro Tools to see if that would help.
Now I can't open Pro Tools at all - it says I "don't have any licenses in your accounts, or none of the licenses there have any activations available. If you have an iLok USB decise with a license activated on it, please plug it in now". In my iLok manager I can see my Pro Tools Perpetual bundle is there. I'm not sure what to do other than reinstalling the older version of Pro Tools I previously was using. My system is MacOS Montery 12.3. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! |

Hi, welcome to the community.
Software compatibility wise please check this page. License wise, there is expiration date hard coded, which means if you do not have active support and update plan, you can only use PT versions released on or before that date. If this is the case, update your license. You can see this date from iLok license manager by clicking the details button.

Thanks for your reply - and thanks for the compatability chart. I see I need to upgrade my OS. I'll give that a go - but I suspect I may still have a separate issue with the License. I have a perpetual bundle purcahsed August 2022 and that has been set to auto renew. I can't see anywhere I'd update my license.

Open iLok Manager
Find your license under the All Licenses tab or under the iLok you have it on. Right click on the license name and choose Refresh. If this doesn’t work or if you’re using a cloud license and you see it in your iLok account as being active and current then you can create a support ticket. If you do not have an active support plan then you will not be able to use any version of Pro Tools beyond your support plan expiration date. |

Thanks for your help - I've updated to Monterey 12.7 and that's done the trick. A very simple solution.
