Default Asio driver problems

I just installed the new ASIO drivers on my XP machine so I can use Reason 1 with my Digi 001. Everytime I go to the preferences in Reason and try to set it for the ASIO driver I get this error message, "Sound Driver Problem, The sound driver may be in use by another application." Has anybody else gotten this error? If so how do you get around it.
Thank you,
Howard Kolb
