Mbox3 on Win7 not playing nice with LE8.0.5

Could really use some help, I have been reading forums for 2 days and bugging every computer guy I know. I am a PC guy(tried Mac) so I built a new Win7-PC with help from a gamer(specs below) Bottom line is that the Mbox3 has drop-outs with PT or even itunes. The computer is very fast thanks to the 16G ram and SSD, but simple movements of the mouse cause the USB io to drop audio.

I tried PT with one track and with 21 tracks same result it would throw a buffer underflow error. Changing the buffer did not help the drops.
Initially I had the Mbox plugged into the USB3 port - which distorted the audio and caused digital noise. I swapped ports and it now just drops audio and cloggs the pipes. In an effort to get away from the Mobo USB chip I installed a PCiX-USB card...no change(other than PT can't find the hardware anymore, though it still drops in itunes).

PT lives on the 2nd drive which is a traditional spinning drive, though I did try installing it on the SSD, no change.

That system report is not the usual Sandra that folks need to offer the best advice. In any case, Pro Tools should be installed on the C: drive(I am guessing that's your SSD). I see you have a graphics card installed on a system that includes onboard graphics; is the onboard graphics disabled in BIOS(worth a try). Is this( I installed a PCiX-USB card) a typo? Gaming computers don't always make good audio computers. Check this thread and post a Sandra report(it may help):
