Convert proprietary plug-in settings to .tfx?
Somehow after many years of using Pro Tools I only just discovered the cool little function where you can tell a plugin to cycle through presets every few seconds. Dead useful for auditioning reverbs in particular. The problem is that it only works if the presets are in the .tfx format and stored in the Pro Tools plug-in settings folder.
A lot of plug-in manufacturers are using their own preset browsing functionality, which is super useful most of the time, but the downside is that it means this preset cycling feature in PT doesn't work since the presets are all in a proprietary format for that manufacturer. So short of manually re-saving all of a plugin's presets to .tfx format, does anyone know of a quicker and less tedious way to do this?

Re: Convert proprietary plug-in settings to .tfx?
Unfortunately there is no other way to convert a developer’s preset to a Pro Tools preset. As you already recognize, the only way is to recall from the GUI and re-save as a PT plugin preset.
