Default worse results from MboxII to Avid Mbox

Hi,

we were using the blue Digidesign MboxII and Protools LE for WinXP for a good while to produce sound clips of classical stringed instruments with Neumann KM150 mics. We got nice, direct recordings.

Since we bought the new Avid Mbox Mini 3 with Protools 9 we have some kind of a reverb in our recordings and in Protzools, the instruments sound different (more nasal). The fional result MP3 sound clips are not as direct as before, sound hollow, and we do not know why.

Can anyone help?

Thanks, Anne
