I think my MBox's sick
Hi, channel 2 on my Mbox2 seems to have developed a fault. When I set it to record in ProTools it shows a signal half way up the scale with no mic attached and regardless of the input setting. Anyone know what may have gone wrong?

Trash prefs, reboot, and then try recording thru it.

Re: I think my MBox's sick
Thanks for advice but it hasn't worked I'm afraid. The channel does record and the input gain dial functions to set the recording level but there's this horrble loud static-like sound running all the time which is constant whatever the input gain is set to. As soon as I press record ther's a loud click regardless of input setting and the hiss starts. Help anyone, please?
