Banking issue

Hi!

Recently trying a new workflow... 24 faders, 1-16 in L Spill zone, 17-24 in R Spill Zone.

I wanted to use the "Type" key to land all my auxes (fx returns) in the right spill... works great. Problem is that I can't bank around to all tracks in the L spill because it's still acting like there are 24 faders. That is to say, if I bank the left zone, I'd expect 1-16, 17-32, 33-48 etc. But instead I get 1-16, 25-40, etc.

I hope I'm making sense!

I also understand that I can get to all the tracks if I set to Banking mode 8 Strips, but I don't want to. Haha. When I want to go back to all 24 faders in a no-spill situation, it's harder to navigate a 72 track session banking 8 at a time.

Am I missing something or would this need to a new feature? How do you all deal with this? Maybe there's a better way to accomplish my goal...

Well, discovered an answer to my dilemma... if I choose L Spill Type ALL, I can then bank through everything as I hoped while still in Whole Surface Banking mode. Wish there was a way not to have to do that, but this works!

Still open to ideas if I'm just missing a pref setting!

Sounds like a bug to me. I'll look into it.

A question, Is the Spill L button actually on when you are trying to bank?

Not in my original scenario... just the R Spill that contained my auxes. L Spill light is off, and won't bank around the spilled zone.

I hope I'm explaining it well. hehe

To Bank L Spill the switch has to be on.
