Default Pro Tools Subforum - 2022 or ?

Hey Jeffro, is there going to be a separate forum ? a la 2019, 2020, 2021 ?
If so, the sooner the better I would suggest.

Well, I had originally though it would help (yes, it was my idea) but the overwhelming feedback was negative so could just keep this one and change the name to Pro Tools (and move the others to Legacy). Might be best discussed in a new thread...

Okay, here we are... as I said, the overwhelming feedback I saw was that separate subforums based on year were not helpful. I was leaning toward changing Pro Tools 2021 to just Pro Tools but know there's already quite a few name changes today.

Open to your comments.

Can obviously let this simmer a bit... last time it seemed to cause a fair amount of angst so we want to make sure any changes work for the majority.

FWIW I'd vote for one Pro Tools forum that includes everything from the year-name era, and then legacy forums for the older stuff.

And we need a separate Moan Forum.

One forum, definitely.

Also, why are the HDX forums "Mac" and "Win" separated? And why no forums for MTRX / MTRX Studio users?

Okay, so...
  • Pro Tools 2021 subforum gets renamed to Pro Tools
  • Add a MTRX subforum in Pro Tools Hardware section
  • Consider merging the Mac & Win HDX/HDN subforums

Default Why Not A Pro Tools 2022 Forum ?

I mentioned it already.
This Pro Tools 2021 Forum is getting gummed up with everything about Pro Tools 2022. We have separate ones for 2019, 2020 after all.
Or are they all going to be merged into a "Pro Tools" Forum ?
