OMF and nested sequences?
Hi, this board has been great in answering my questions. I am currently having a client export an OMF from his final cut pro. His sequence is a nested sequence (a combination of several sequences). If he exports this nested sequence, will it import correctly into Pro Tools with all the tracks of the sub sequences split out? Or will it import onto the PT timeline as it appears on his timeline (i.e. a nested stereo track). I don't want the latter to occur. Should I have him export each sub-sequence as its own OMF instead?
Thanks |
