NewBe question about selling a PT 11 license

Hi, sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum to ask this question please move or advice if so.

I am considering buying a avid eleven rack bundled with PT 11 license with iLok. Would I be able to sell/transfer the PT11 license and iLok dongle to a buyer if I were to register and used the PT 11 license for some period of time , say two months, after which I decided it was not what I wanted ?
As I understand it, there would be transfer fees but could I honestly sell and transfer the license and dongle to a buyer?

Off to a bad start, I posted this to the wrong forum, it should be in the PT 11 discussion.

It's not a problem to do this. You would just transfer the license to the buyer. You would keep your Ilok 2 and the buyer would need his own Ilok 2. The transfer is done through Ilok.com for $25. When you advertise it for sale, whatever your price is, you would mention that there is the $25 fee to transfer it.

Or instead of registering the purchased PT11 download the demo version of PT11 and try that out. That way the $25 buck iLok fee is saved.

If you only have that PT11 license on your iLok account, you can simply give that key to the buyer and set up the buyer's email & password so the new guy "owns" your account.

Can't be bothered going back through old threads ... but ... as of PT11 hasn't Avid stopped allowing iLok transfers full stop?

So the only option is to sell the physical iLok and give away your Avid account, otherwise the buyer can never upgrade in the future?

Or is that only for HD licences?

HD, NFR, and EDU licenses cannot be transferred. Otherwise the only thing needed to transfer a PT license is $30 and a willing victim.
