Issues after Installation

After purchasing Pro Tools 10 Student Edition, I installed the program and updated it to the latest version. When first opening Pro Tools I went to the I/Os to setup my interface (Stienberg CI1). It did not show up so I closed the program and restarted my computer. Ever since then I have had constant problems. These problems include
"Could not complete your request because access violation occured, unable to read location 0x00000004"

ASIO latency error where Pro Tools says there is no buffer size

"Could not complete your request because Access violation occured, unable to read location: 0x00000010"

"Could not complete the Exit command because Access violation occured, unable to read location: 0xF988BD8D"

"Access violation occured, unable to read 0x0000001A6"

"Runtime Error!
R6025
- pure virtual function call"

And every time I exit Pro Tools it will freeze. Using the Task Manager does nothing to shut it down.

Not too sure where to start to fix these problems as I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

I have a Acer Aspire 5742 laptop running Windows 7 64bit with 4GB of RAM

Try re-installing the drivers for the Stienberg hardware. The after a reboot, hold the N key while opening Pro Tools. That should bring you to a window where you can select the interface to be the audio engine. Fingers crossed
