What midi RTAS are available for Pro Tools 8
Hello!
I have pro tools 8 se on a desktop computer with 4 gigs of RAM. What midi RTAS are available for my software that is both good quality and affordable? I'm looking to upgrade but I want something compatible that won't break the bank. Thanks!

Quick question
Pro Tools 8 SE (as opposed to LE) is old crippleware, it does not support third party VIs, just what it came with.

Darryl beat me to it. PT8SE will not do it for you with current VIs.

According to his public profile he's got: "Windows XP, MBox 3 Pro, Pro Tools 8 LE".
Long way back. Since he has LE, he can use third party VIs, but not anything new AFAIK.

Right if he has "LE", almost any RTAS VI will function.

Quick question
So what version of Pro Tools do you actually have? LE or SE?
What VIs are you looking for? Drums? Orchestral strings? Just asking for "VIs" is kinda weird. Like asking for a surgeon recommendation and we don't know if you have a toothache or need heart surgery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Perhaps look for someone selling the old original "Pro Tools instrument expansion pack" version 1.
